the reason i love cheleanor SO DAMN MUCH is because they are PROOF that, at least in the world of “the good place,” soulmates are a thing. somewhere out there, there is SOMEONE who, no matter what circumstances you meet them under, no matter what shit life throws at you, no matter what forces conspire to keep you apart, no matter how impossible it seems for you to be together at first, no matter WHAT… they love you. always. that whole concept just makes my heart go “!!!!!” and oh god i love watching them fall in love so much
